Melanin is a natural pigment that gives skin color. Exposure to sunlight, hormonal influences and aging can cause an increase in melanin production and trigger hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation manifests itself as dark areas and age spots (also known as sun spots) that are an uneven appearance to the skin.
Eucerin Anti-Pigment Day Cream SPF 30 contains Thiamidol, a patented and effective ingredient that works at the root of hyperpigmentation by reducing melanin production. It is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduce dark spots, also preventing their reappearance. The first results are visible after two weeks and continue to improve with regular use.
With UVA and UVB filters (SPF 30), the moisturizing day cream ensures effective protection against the sun and reduces the chances of developing sun-induced pigmentation spots. The skin is even and radiant.

Among other clinical and dermatological studies, a product utilization study (PUE) was conducted involving 120 women aged between 25 and 55¹. Participants reported the following results after initially two weeks and then four weeks of regular use:
Indications for use:
- Apply in the morning to a well-cleansed face, neck and décolleté.
- Gently massage to penetrate the skin
- Avoid contact with eyes

- Apply each product once a day. Use a maximum of four applications per day of products containing Thiamidol .
